A small note on the 3 products below.
Sesame seed oil, oil lamps & cotton wicks. These three combined allow you to create a beautiful ambience in your spiritual / meditation space.
Simply add some sesame oil to one of your oil lamps and add a wick to this to keep a steady flame burning throughout your session.
Now, a few people have noted that when they use the cotton wicks, they tend to either not light properly… or go up in a fireball when lit!
The correct way to light the cotton wick:
Dip the ball end into the oil first and position it towards the front of the lamp. Then put a little of the oil onto your fingers and rub onto the pointed end. Next, squeeze a little of the oil out of half of the pointed end that you just applied it to and, when in place, light the dry bit of the wick.
This should allow you to get a steady flame that lasts a decent amount of time.
